Computer ethics
Computer ethical standards under malware analysis.
Basically, computers also have a set of rules and guidelines that set moral standards meant to be followed and govern how various computers should be use. These ethical standards are important, as they help protect the computer networks and personal information of individuals. When it comes to malware attacks, they normally break certain rules that make it difficult for computer users to be secure about their information.
Snooping around in another person's private files is not a good practice. This means you are illegally giving yourself access to another person's folder without their consent. Types of malwares such as Trojan, whereby they appear as a trusted file, but they are actually not. This makes a user to click on the link or download the file, making the hacker gain access of information without the user's consent., which is wrong.
Stealing information remotely with malware such as Spyware is prohibited. This is a type of malware whereby it is hidden and cannot be spotted easily; this makes the malware steal personal information such as passwords and medical records. This malware can take up a huge amount of information from the user without it being identified, which is not right.
Computer systems should not be used to interfere with another person's work, for example, using a worm (a type of malware) whereby it spreads viruses from one computer system to another, causing harm to a device such as slow speeds and insufficient storage. Some computer networks also get a malware attack called adware, whereby it displays unnecessary advertisements numerous times.
