Academic paper summary.

 

This paper talks about how to detect a type of malware using machine learning. The article also talks about examples of malware detection such as behavior-based detection, signature-based detection, and machine-learning detection. The objective of the writer was to inspect and examine different malware detection techniques to develop an opcode frequency and to authenticate the proposed approach in determining the type of malware. This analysis was successful as a new method of detecting malware was discovered with the help of opcode frequencies.
